Integrate DiveCloud Tests with Your Development Tools
In today’s marketplace, it’s critical to be fully prepared before deploying new sites and applications. Slowness or downtime after launch will drive away early adopters and the negative buzz will discourage new customers. Having a grip on real traffic scenarios and what they mean to your systems is crucial.
The solution? DiveCloud API
DiveCloud already provides you with the means to create and run your load and performance test plans with a simple-to-use interface. But what if that’s not enough? What if you want to test programmatically through a script, or even make them part of your continuous integration tools?
The new API for DiveCloud allows you to do just that
With DiveCloud API you can:
- Kick-start your tests automatically from a script — there’s no need to open and click on the web application
- Run your test plans at the time of your choice, whether it’s at 3 am or during low traffic hours
- Integrate with continuous deployment tools like Jenkins or CircleCI, or with your favorite tool
- Perform tests automatically before each deployment
How to use DiveCloud API in your tests:
All you need is your API key, which you can find in your account, and the test ID. The API key is located in your ACCOUNT under API.
Consult the API Help Pages for information, examples and directions.[ Help Page]
Interested in trying it out? To begin using the API, simply log in, select the PLAN ID for the tests you’d like to start automatically, find your API Key, and then add the API calls to your scripts. You’ll be on your way in no time!
