Nouvola Plugin for AWS CodePipeline

Here are some simple steps for configuring Nouvola DiveCloud tests in AWS CodePipeline.
It is assumed that a pipeline already exists, and there is at least a basic knowledge on how AWS CodePipeline works.

It is also assumed that you already have a Nouvola DiveCloud account and that you already have created at least one test plan (see also Step 6).

Step 1

Edit AWS CodePipeline. Select your pipeline and click the Edit button.

Add a new Stage. Click on the “ + Stage” area. Give a name, and then click on the “+ Action” area

Add the action category. In the pop-up menu select the Test category.

Add the Nouvola DiveCloud test provider. And click Connect.

Add the Nouvola DiveCloud test you want to run within CodePipeline.
The Connect redirects to a pulldown menu for Nouvola DiveCloud Test. Select a test from the menu and click the SAVE button.

Step 6

If you don’t have a Nouvola DiveCloud account, you will be redirected to the Nouvola DiveCloud sign in page. You need to create an account and at least one test plan.

The Save button brings you back to AWS CodePipeline.
A new test should appear in the action form, as shown here below. Click Add Action button to complete this stage.

Save Pipeline changes. At this point you are ready to save and Continue.

Ready! Now you can run your test and if successfully you will see the outcome as shown below.

Check Results! Clicking on Details brings you to DiveCloud result page for that test.
